Kaden Ewald
Builder first. Strategist always.
From managing hemp farms in Manitoba to deploying Web3 DAOs, from flying helicopters into remote Alaskan drill sites to running a digital agency that’s delivered measurable growth across 150+ client projects — the throughline has always been the same: figure it out, build it, make it work.
Raised on Kitselas land. Built to build things.
Born and raised in Terrace, BC on Kitselas territory, Kaden grew up in the kind of place where you learn how to work with your hands before you learn how to type. Thousands of hours running bobcats, excavators, dozers, and skidders. Heli jobs diamond drilling in the remote Alaskan wilderness. The kind of formative years that teach you logistics, problem-solving under pressure, and what happens when plans meet reality.
The Academic Path
Kaden started at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa on a soccer scholarship, studying Biology as a pre-med student. It was the science that stuck — the systems thinking, the rigor, the habit of looking at problems from first principles. But the pull toward building businesses was stronger.
He transferred to Trinity Western University to pursue an MBA with a focus on Accounting and Marketing — a combination that would shape how he approaches every engagement today: strategy backed by numbers, creativity constrained by what actually moves the needle.
Kemano CCS & The Hemp Years
While still in his MBA program, Kaden incubated and launched Kemano CCS Inc. after pre-selling a hemp crop in 2018. By 2019, he was managing 30 acres across three micro-farms in Niverville, Steinbach, and Île-des-Chênes, Manitoba — running the agronomy, the logistics, the sales, and the compliance simultaneously.
That experience led to consulting work with some of the largest hemp and cannabis companies on the planet, including advisory work on cannabis and hemp legislation for the country of Belize.
43 States in a Subaru
After the hemp chapter, Kaden hit the road — traveling across 43 U.S. states in a 50-horsepower Subaru van. It wasn’t a gap year. It was a recalibration. Meeting founders, studying markets, and figuring out what came next.
What came next was doubling down on the intersection of technology and growth. He launched Fractional Finance, which partnered with James Sutton (now a Senior Solutions Architect at NVIDIA) to deploy the Weavr.org DAO — bridging decentralized finance with real-world business applications.
Grow Wild Agency
The marketing expertise built through cannabis, hemp, and Web3 work crystallized into something more focused. Grow Wild Agency launched in 2019 as a Vancouver-based digital strategy and build firm — not just another agency, but one that diagnoses, designs, builds, and optimizes under one roof.
Today, Grow Wild serves enterprise clients in hospitality, car rentals, manufacturing, and professional services, with deep specialization in SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), Google Ads, and AI-powered marketing automation. Over 150 projects delivered. IAAP member, WCAG compliant. 98% retention rate.

How He Works
What you’re actually getting.
Working with Kaden isn’t like working with an account manager who inherited your file. Here’s what shapes every engagement.
Builder’s Mindset
Strategy is worthless without execution. Kaden’s background in heavy equipment, agriculture, and field operations means he doesn’t just plan — he builds. Every engagement gets hands-on leadership from someone who’s managed physical and digital operations at scale.
First Principles Thinking
A biology background teaches you to question assumptions and work from the data up. That scientific rigor runs through every audit, every strategy, and every campaign structure Grow Wild delivers.
Rooted in Place
Kaden lives in Terrace, BC on Kitselas land — the same place he grew up. That connection to community, land, and long-term thinking shows up in how he runs the agency: relationships over transactions, compounding value over quick wins.
