Web development services

Build the website your operation needs.

Your website has work to do. We connect the pages people see with the content, forms, accounts, and systems your team depends on.

PowerConcepts

A website rebuild bringing training, secure student access, and marketing together. The engagement also included performance tracking and project management.

Explore the project ↗

Our web development services turn agreed designs and requirements into a working website. We start with your users, editors, and operational dependencies, then choose an implementation that fits. A public website, an ecommerce store, and an internal software product need different decisions.

Explore the experience

What happens after someone clicks?

Explore an illustrative inquiry flow. A dependable website handles more than the happy path.

A successful inquiry

Give the visitor a clear receipt.

A completed form should reach the intended destination, show a meaningful confirmation, and give your team enough context to act. The interface should only confirm receipt when the receiving service accepts it.

  1. Visitor submits
  2. Service accepts
  3. Receipt shown

Missing information

Help someone finish without starting again.

Name the field that needs attention, explain the correction, and preserve the information already entered. Error feedback should work for keyboard and assistive-technology users as well as people reading the screen.

  1. Check the fields
  2. Explain the correction
  3. Keep their progress

A service is unavailable

Make recovery part of the design.

When an external tool is unavailable, the website needs an honest message and an agreed recovery path. We define retry behaviour and duplicate protection where the workflow requires them, then test the failure case.

  1. No confirmed receipt
  2. Explain the problem
  3. Offer a safe retry

What we deliver

Choose the foundation around the work.

We agree the deliverables, responsibilities, and acceptance checks with you before work begins.

Talk through your scope ↗

Your content, under your control

We map the page types, editing roles, publishing process, and content relationships before choosing the CMS. A small brochure site and a large location directory should not inherit the same editing complexity by default.

Integrations with clear responsibilities

We identify the provider, data fields, validation rules, authentication boundaries, and what counts as success. Booking, CRM, customer accounts, and marketing tools each bring dependencies that belong in the scope and test plan.

A migration with a way back

Content inventory, redirects, domain and hosting responsibilities, and deployment checks are planned before launch. We agree a review environment and release approach, including recovery steps appropriate to the system.

Handover that supports real ownership

You receive the agreed source, access arrangements, operating notes, and editing guidance. Updates, monitoring, backups, and response expectations are explicitly assigned; an ongoing support arrangement is scoped separately where needed.

From the first conversation to handover

You will know what happens next.

  1. 01

    Make the plan

We review your current setup, your priorities, and the people who need to use it. You get a defined first phase and clear dependencies.

  2. 02

    Review the work

You see the agreed direction and working pages as they develop. Decisions and feedback are tied to the scope and the people responsible.

  3. 03

    Check and hand over

We verify the agreed journeys, resolve release issues, and give your team the access and guidance needed to run the result.

Before you decide

Your questions, answered.

Can you build from an existing design?

Yes. We review the design system, responsive behaviour, content model, accessibility requirements, and integrations first. Missing interaction states or content dependencies are resolved before they become surprises during development.

Which platform should we use?

The choice follows your editing needs, integrations, security responsibilities, budget, and expected maintenance. We can assess your existing setup and explain the trade-offs before proposing a stack. A familiar platform is useful only if it fits the work.

Is website development the same as custom software?

A website primarily supports public content and visitor journeys. An internal application may need complex workflows, permissions, and operational reporting. If your main problem is the work behind the website, our software and systems service is the better starting point.

How do you test a website before launch?

We agree acceptance criteria and check representative devices, keyboard journeys, forms, links, content, integrations, and migration behaviour. For connected workflows, we include success, validation, and failure cases. The final scope determines the depth of testing.
